For many finance teams, defined benefit schemes can mean a number of things from balance sheet ‘time bombs’ to transaction headaches.

The aim of this training session will be to:

  • provide a solid understanding of the key drivers behind scheme funding and the valuation process;
  • cover specific areas for discussion with your pension scheme trustees leading up to your
  • next scheme valuation, including mortality, setting of other assumptions and TPR trigger points;
  • address the options available to you to de-risk your defined benefit scheme; and
  • manage the existing liabilities through to an exit strategy.

This training session was limited to a maximum of 15 delegates.
